Coverage
Where we work across Greater Montreal
Nadair is based in Laval, so most projects sit in one region: the island of Montreal, Laval, the North Shore and the South Shore. We install within roughly 100 km of Montreal — as far as Saint-Hyacinthe, Sorel-Tracy, Joliette and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield when the scope fits.
Laval
Our base and the region we know best: the industrial parks and commercial zones of Chomedey, Sainte-Dorothée and Vimont, from light manufacturing and food production to distribution and retail.
Island of Montreal
Dense, mixed boroughs with older commercial building stock: downtown office towers and retail, restaurants and boutiques on the Plateau, plus industrial pockets like Saint-Laurent (manufacturing and aerospace), Anjou (distribution) and Lachine (warehousing).
North Shore (Rive-Nord)
Terrebonne and Lachenaie, Repentigny and Lanaudière, Saint-Jérôme and the Laurentians, and Mirabel’s industrial and aerospace zones.
South Shore (Rive-Sud)
Longueuil and Saint-Hubert, Brossard’s commercial and retail zones around DIX30, the industrial parks of Boucherville, and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu in the Haut-Richelieu.

The systems
What we install across Greater Montreal
Every project is commercial, institutional or industrial. We do not take residential work or maintenance contracts. For industry-specific systems, start with HVAC by industry; for kitchens specifically, see restaurant ventilation and kitchen hoods.
✓ Rooftop units (RTUs) — new, replacement and capacity upgrades
✓ Ventilation and make-up air units (MAU)
✓ Commercial ductwork, including kitchen exhaust built to NFPA 96
✓ Zoned systems and CRAC units for labs and data rooms
✓ Kitchen hoods and make-up air for restaurants
Our process
From assessment to commissioning
Coordinated with your operations, permits and inspections included
01
Site evaluation
A site visit to measure the existing equipment, the roof access and the building’s constraints. We confirm what is there before we propose anything.
02
Design and quote
Equipment sizing, duct routing and selection, then a detailed quote: scope of work, equipment and schedule.
03
Installation
Roof work, ductwork and unit placement, with electrical and gas coordination. Scheduled around your operating hours.
04
Permits and inspections
We prepare permit applications and schedule the required inspections as part of the project, under the Quebec Construction Code.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What property managers and business owners ask us
Which areas do you cover?
Laval and Greater Montreal within about 100 km: the island of Montreal, the North Shore (Rive-Nord) and the South Shore (Rive-Sud). That includes Longueuil, Brossard, Boucherville, Terrebonne, Repentigny, Mirabel and Saint-Jerome. If your building sits just outside that range, call us and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
How does a project start?
With a free site visit. We assess the building, the existing equipment and the access, then send a detailed quote that separates scope, equipment and schedule.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. Permit applications and the inspections they trigger are part of the installation, coordinated by us rather than left to you.
Can you work outside our business hours?
Yes. For restaurants, retail and occupied buildings we schedule installation outside your operating hours where the scope allows, keeping a short planned window for rooftop work and final connections.
Do you offer maintenance or service contracts?
No. We are an installation-only contractor: no maintenance contract is imposed and we do not take residential work. Every crew we send is on a commercial installation.
How long does an installation take?
A straightforward rooftop unit replacement is usually completed in one to two days. Larger industrial ventilation or multi-unit projects run longer, and the quote sets out the schedule.
