Manufacturing
Industrial ventilation for factories and plants
A production floor generates heat, fumes and dust that general ventilation alone cannot handle. You have to capture at the source and replace the air you exhaust.

Why it matters
The three problems that keep recurring
In an industrial building the symptoms look much the same from one plant to the next.
Process heat
Ovens, presses and compressors push heat up and hold it there. Without managed stratification, summer becomes unbearable at floor level.
Exhaust without replacement
Adding exhaust fans without makeup air puts the building under negative pressure: doors slam, combustion appliances backdraft.
No source capture
Welding, grinding, coating — without extraction at the source, contaminants spread through the whole building.

The system
What we install on an industrial site
We design and install; operation and maintenance stay with you or your service provider.
✓ Industrial-capacity rooftop units and unit heaters
✓ Process exhaust and source capture
✓ Heated makeup air to offset extraction
✓ Roof fans and general building ventilation
✓ Sheet-metal ductwork for long runs
Our process
From assessment to commissioning
Coordinated with your operations, permits and inspections included
01
Assessment
Site visit, survey of existing equipment, roof access and building constraints. We confirm what is actually there before proposing anything.
02
Design and quote
Sizing, duct routing and equipment selection, then a detailed quote: scope of work, equipment, schedule.
03
Installation
Roof work, ductwork and unit installation, electrical and gas coordination. Scheduled around your operating hours.
04
Permits and inspections
We handle permit applications and schedule the required inspections as part of the project, under Quebec building codes.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What our clients ask most often
Can you install without stopping production?
Usually yes, by sequencing the work zone by zone and reserving connections for planned shutdowns, night shifts or weekends.
Do you design process exhaust systems?
Yes, we do the mechanical design and the installation. Where a process calls for specific industrial hygiene expertise, we work from the requirements your specialist provides.
Can you connect to an existing dust collector?
Yes, integrating with a collector already in place is routine work.
Which codes apply to industrial ventilation?
The Quebec Construction Code and the occupational health and safety regulation govern airflow, air quality and discharge. The specifics vary with the process and the substances involved.
Do you work in 24/7 plants?
Yes. The constraint becomes access and safety rather than scheduling: we work to your lockout procedures and hot work permits.

Factory and manufacturing ventilation
In manufacturing, ventilation is often a health-and-safety and process requirement before it is a comfort one. Fumes, heat, dust and vapours have to be captured at the source, and every cubic foot extracted has to be replaced or the building goes into negative pressure.
That balance is the core of the design: process exhaust sized to the work, make-up air supplied to match it, and pressure relationships that keep contaminants away from occupied areas. Where codes or insurers require it, the exhaust is treated (filtration, scrubbers) before discharge. We install the capture, duct, exhaust and supply systems as one package so extraction and make-up stay in balance as equipment changes over time.
